Starting Strong: Your Path to Becoming a Skyline Rider

We believe that a great partnership starts before the first lesson. Here's everything you need to know about joining the Skyline Farms community.

Welcome to Skyline Farms

Every rider who trains with us   regardless of age, background, or experience level   goes through the same intentional onboarding process. We do this not to add steps, but because we believe the beginning of a training relationship sets the tone for everything that follows.

At Skyline, we take the time to understand who you are, where you are in your development, and where you want to go. That investment on the front end is what allows us to craft a program that truly serves you.

01

Reach Out & Connect

Your journey at Skyline begins with a conversation. Contact us through our website to introduce yourself, your goals, and your experience level. Tell us about your horse if you have one, or let us know if you are looking to ride a school horse.

There are no walk-in lessons at Skyline Farms. Every student is scheduled and approved in advance. This protects the horses, ensures the quality of instruction, and allows Carey to prepare appropriately for each session.

02

Initial Consultation

Before your first lesson is booked, a brief consultation by phone or in person will be arranged to discuss your current riding background and experience, your goals whether recreational, competitive, therapeutic, or educational, which program or service is the best fit for you, any physical considerations or limitations to be aware of, and scheduling and availability. This conversation ensures that you are placed in the right program at the right level from day one.

03

Getting Started

Once your enrollment is confirmed, you will receive all the information needed to prepare for your first session, including what to wear and bring, facility expectations and safety guidelines, lesson structure and what to expect during your initial sessions, as well as scheduling and payment details.
