Healing Happens in the Presence of Horses
Hoof & Heal is Skyline Farms' therapeutic horsemanship program a structured, compassionate space where horses and humans do transformative work together.
HOOF & HEAL PROGRAM OVERVIEW
For generations, humans have recognized what science is now confirming: horses have a unique capacity to facilitate healing, growth, and emotional development. At Skyline Farms, our Hoof & Heal program is built on this truth.
Led by Carey Stewart, whose background spans equine education, youth development, and therapeutic riding initiatives, Hoof & Heal brings professional structure and genuine care to every session. Carey is currently pursuing her PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certification, ensuring that Skyline’s therapeutic programming meets the highest standards in the field.
This is not just a riding program for people with challenges. It is a purposeful therapeutic experience designed to build trust, reduce anxiety, develop coordination and body awareness, and foster the kind of confidence that carries forward into everyday life.
